about

Sedentary. That word kind of says it all. Without the need for that killer instinct, humans have become obsessed with owning that new jet ski.

And of course, no courage, physical cunning, or mental prowess is required to purchase such machinery.

And why not head to the lake with that gigantic hunk of mechanically powered steel with said jet ski in tow. You should never have to walk. Or exert. Or prepare a meal yourself. You deserve it. You worked hard for that inheritance, the patience causing you grief waiting for that old prick/bitch to die off.

But when it all comes apart (and it will)... it will be astonishing to see how quickly it unravels.

Worst of all, people responsible for the unraveling will do so for their own gain, knowing they've distracted that massive population by the offering of a jet ski for "sale" with an economy geared to control. Having everyone believe that it's important... that jobs are important, no matter how menial. That the new way to survive is to install windshields on cars for 84 hours a week until your hands bleed so that loaf of bread can be had the next morning, while the owner vacations in Hawaii for 7 months of the year sipping some fashionable drink.

The caveman would never have had another caveman come and clean out his cave for pieces of paper with numbers on it. That other caveman would have slaughtered him simply for the idea, and the stupidity of the offer. Then took his cave and weapons and increased his virility in an effort to survive.

That's out the window. Anyone can hire anyone to dust or wipe morning dew off their lawn chairs, and hiree will do it to "survive."

Folks, time to get up and get moving. Too busy and stressed to notice any other alternative. "This is just the way it is."

For you... it is, I guess?

Having no idea what to do musically is turning out to be a blessing. G#7?? WHAT?? No idea what it means...

But there is lots out there to express. The day to day musings, pains, pleasures... all with intricacy. Why not put some random notes down, and see where it takes you with that in mind?

That is the philosophy, for better or worse. I could just make music that already exists... but why??????
